The Education Department of Lekki Local Council Development Area. presented Awards of Recognition to the Council Manager, Mr. Asokere Sejuro Phillip, and the Council Treasurer, Mr. Adelu Mozoor Abiodun, on Monday, 13th July, 2026, in appreciation of their outstanding support and contributions to the growth and development of the Education Department.
The awards were presented by the Head of Education and Library Services Department, Mrs. Eniola Bolajoko Oluwatosin who commended the recipients for their unwavering commitment, exemplary leadership, and continuous support towards advancing educational initiatives within the council.




She noted that the recognition serves as a testament to their dedication to excellence in public service and their invaluable contributions to the effective delivery of quality education-related programmes in Lekki LCDA.
In his response, the Council Manager, Mr. Asokere Sejuro Phillip, expressed profound appreciation to the Head of Education and Library Services Department and the entire staff of the department for the thoughtful recognition. He described the award as a great honour and a source of renewed motivation to continue rendering quality service to the council. He encouraged members of the department to remain committed, dedicated, and united in the discharge of their duties, emphasizing that their collective efforts are vital to the continued growth and success of the council.
Similarly, the Council Treasurer, Mr. Adelu Mozoor Abiodun, thanked the Education Department for the honour bestowed upon him.
