The Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has continued to distinguish himself as a man of action and not just words. Major projects are ongoing, including the construction of a Type-C Modern Primary Health Centre and a Type-A PHC at Okun Ise, as well as the rehabilitation of Apakin PHC.
The Council also provided new whiteboards for public schools, and carried out the channelization of waterways to prevent flooding. In addition, there has been regular clearance of road verges and monthly fumigation of all public facilities to ensure a cleaner and safer environment.
The administration also focused on people’s welfare and empowerment. Free skill acquisition and IT training were sponsored for youths and staff, while summer coaching was organized for students. The monthly food palliatives has been sustainable and monthly free medical checkups for staff have been introduced.
The Council also held several free health missions on eye care, prostate cancer, and general medical services. To support education, awards were given to the best performing students in public schools, and “Back to School” materials were distributed.
The Executive Chairman’s 100 days reflect steady progress and a leadership that puts people first in Lekki LCDA.
