From the Lekki Free Zone and Dangote Refinery axis to communities like Osoroko, Lekki Town, Apakin, Idasho, Idotun, Lekuru, Imobido, Okunraye, Olomowewe, and Folu, the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise was carried out with full force, reaching deep into the heart of the LCDA.

On ground and actively involved, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE) led the exercise alongside Council Executives, Councilors, Supervisors, Special Advisers, Security Personnel, the SLG, HODs, PSP operators, sanitation officers, and other key Stakeholders, demonstrating a hands-on approach to governance.

Engaging directly with traders and residents, the Chairman emphasized the importance of personal responsibility in maintaining a clean environment, making it clear that sanitation is not a one-off activity, but a culture that must be sustained. He further reiterated that the exercise will continue monthly, with enforcement measures to ensure compliance.

This is what it means to lead from the front, taking the message beyond words and into action.
