RBK ATTENDS COMMISSIONING OF BATAC & OPEBI–MENDE–OJOTA LINK BRIDGE
April 11, 2026In every thriving community, the quality of education begins with the strength of its teachers. Today at the Council Secretariat, Lekki LCDA took a deliberate step toward deepening that foundation through a Capacity Building Training on Literacy and Public Speaking Skills for public school teachers.
The programme, organized by the Education and Library Services Department, focused on equipping educators with essential communication and instructional skills, recognizing that confident teachers inspire confident learners. The session was facilitated by an invited expert who led the training, delivering practical insights and engaging participants in impactful learning exercises.
In attendance were the Vice Chairman (who also serves as Supervisor for Education), the Head of Department (HOD) for Education, the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), alongside Supervisors and Special Advisers—demonstrating the administration’s unified commitment to educational development.
A key highlight of the event was the presentation of Certificates of Participation to all attendees, affirming their active involvement and reinforcing a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence within the council.
This initiative reflects the sustained commitment of Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE) to building capacity, improving teaching standards, and ultimately shaping a brighter future for learners across Lekki LCDA.
