Lekki local council development Area celebrated last day in office for retirees and compensated beneficiaries of the deceased family for year 2024 & 2025 respectively on tuesday 13th january 2026 at the council secretariat hall , the event was quite colourful & worth witnessing .The Executive chairman of lekki LCDA Hon Engr Rasaki Bamidele Kasali while addressing attendees at the event appreciated all and sundry at the event , the executive chairman stated that during last year Epe division Council chairmen was the most performing chairmen in lagos state aswell as lekki LCDA precisely but due to inadequate awareness to the populace , that Epe division council chairmen would have been awarded the best performing chairmen for year 2025 .The Executive chairman in his words promised to do more largesse for the Council staff & to the lekki residents as a whole as time goes by in his Administration. The chairman stated that hence the retirees should be included for recipient of festive bonuses . The Executive chairman further stated that everyone should go for the ongoing E- registration as APC card carrying member in order to reap more goodies as time unfolds. The chairman also noted that soon the BEST STAFF AWARD will be givingThe Council manager otunba olayiwola Giwa in his welcome address at the event, welcome all and sundry at the event. he thereby gave a remarks regards the Executive chairman lekki LCDA stated that he had experienced some Local government Areas /LCDA’s in the state ,that the chairman doesn’t joke with the welfare of staff & raising the standard of living of the residents of the council aswell therefore stated that with all the reasonable welfares policies , the Executive chairman lekki LCDA is considered the Number 1, Chairman in lagos state local government Similarly on the passionate welfare gestures policies of the Executive chairman lekki LCDA the council manager stated that while deliberating on the Amount of money to be given to the retirees and deceased beneficiaries the Council manager stated that an amount of money was initially proposed to the chairman for approval noted that the chairman told him to add more to the amount of money to be given to the retirees / deceased beneficiaries the cheque of *Five Hundred Thousand Naira (#500,000)* was presented to the beneficiaries , the retirees and deceased

beneficiaries .Thereby according to the HRO lekki LCDA a total of Seven (7) staff retired in year 2024 , year 2025 Thirteen (13) staff retired, deceased beneficiaries were Seven (7) in numbers .The director of post service Mr Ogunsakin Irewole while addressing at the event stated that the chairman lekki LCDA is the most talked about in lagos state , regards the good welfares doing for the staff & to the residents of the council .He added that he had been going to various local government Areas / LCDA’s that so far he hasn’t witnessed the kind of outpouring of affections of love coming from the staff of the council to the Executive chairman lekki LCDA Hon Engr Rasaki Bamidele kasali , added that ” the chairman lekki LCDA is a loving chairman “The director of post service aswell acknowledged the good managerial skills by the council manager lekki LCDA , Otunba olayiwola Giwa for all the good welfare policies occuring at lekki LCDA .He noted that the governor of lagos state Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo-olu and the Head of service lagos state Mr Bode Agoro has mandated all local government Areas /LCDA’s to celebrate the retirees .He thereby enjoined the retirees and everyone to ensure going for the ongoing APC E- Registration so that they would be a card carrying member of APC political party .Stated that the retirees is in better position to build the society.The HRO Mr Adeseye kazeem in his words wished the retirees the best after retiring from the public service , prayed for a healthy life after retiring from service. long life & prosperous years ahead , wished everyone journey mercies back home to their various destinations In attendance at the event were the Executive chairman Hon Engr Rasaki Bamidele kasali, chief of staff Hon Rasaq ojikutu, Representatives of local government Establishment & training Director of post service Mr ogunsakin Irewole , Mr Mayegun Oluwole office of post Service local govt estab & training .
